Rewards

Our policy is as follows:

  • All purchases earn 5 Reward Points for every $100 you spend
  • For every 25 points earned, receive a redeemable coupon for a future purchase
  • Points can be redeemed in $25 increments only, in case your account has greater than 25 points at any time.
  • Points will reversed if any shoes are returned.
  • Points only count on retail items. Shoe modifications, custom orthotics, repairs are excluded.

Shipping & Delivery

Our policy is as follows:

  • Standard shipping via USPS/FedEx is currently free for all orders over $149.99 before tax and after discounts. within the continental United States (excluding AK and HI). Contact us for other shipping requirements..
  • Flat-Shipping rate of $8.95 applies to all orders under $149.99. 
  • If you require express shipping, please contact our store directly at 847-965-3338.
  • Orders are shipped Monday through Friday 7am to 2pm CST (excluding holidays)
  • All orders placed before 2:00PM CST will be shipped on the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00PM CST will be processed and shipped on the next business day.
  • Typically, you should receive your order in 5-7 business days.
  • Tracking information will be provided upon your order leaving our facility.

Privacy & Security

We are very concerned with your privacy while on the Waxberg's Walk Shoppe site. 


Security

Our site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the site, your information is protected both online and offline. When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as their credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected by secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption software. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked when you are on normal pages without sensitive information. 


Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in with their user name and password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be unable to take advantage of some of the aspects of our site.

If a user wishes to subscribe to our mailing list, we ask for contact information such as a name and e-mail address. This information is not shared with any other party. 


Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. 


Notification of Changes 

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our home page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of e-mail. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Returns & Replacements

Our policy is as follows:

  • We appreciate returns that are unworn or damaged but realize that there are exceptions. We ask that returned shoes are complete in their original packaging. When returned, a refund or exchange will be given back in to the original payment method.
  • We also appreciate if returns are sent back within 10 days upon delivery or within 6 months for damaged items.
  • Factory defective returns are accepted up to 6 months after purchase and will be given a refund or exchange.
  • No authorization codes are needed.
  • We are not responsible for any shipping charges involved in returning merchandise for credit or exchange. Collect shipments and collect phone calls will not be accepted.
  • ALL ITEMS PURCHASED FROM THE ON SALE TAB ARE FINAL PURCHASES - NO RETURNS.

Return Steps:

  • Find the paper that was included with your order (or use a blank piece of paper), and let us know your Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, and the order number.
  • If you are requesting an exchange, please include the new size and/or color you are requesting.
  • Ship your purchase back to the address below (preferably with 'internet return' written on the outside of the box).
  • The return will be processed and credit issued or an exchange sent out within two business days after we receive the merchandise.

If you live in the Chicagoland area and would prefer to return your item(s) to our store, that is fine as well. Just bring in your receipt or order confirmation and one of our sales associates can get you taken care of and help you find another size or style in exchange if you're looking for that.
